Module content | The module in Next Generation Networks will cover evolution of communications networks towards multiservice networks and convergence. Topics be covered include the current PSTN architecture, convergence of enabling technologies, NGN architectures and APIs, softswitches, and modelling and simulation of multiservice networks. The main objective of the course is to prepare students for advanced research in next generation communications networks. |
